kick boxing foot work training.

Today we worked on foot work in Muay Thai kickboxing, and also Thai pads.  The workouts seem easier now.   Maybe I am getting in better shape!  In eight more days I will be leaving for the tournament.  I made a decision today about a track and field meet that our school is going to.  I have decided not to go because I don't want to risk an injury before this karate tournament.  I really feel bad about not being able to run for my school but I have been working way too hard on my karate and don't want to mess that up.  I have a lot of people counting on me and sponsoring me and I want to do really good and make them proud.  Thank you to everyone who has been helping me and who has been sponsoring me, I really do appreciate this.   I just had a protein shake and 2 pieces of toast/peanut butter and jam and I am off to bed.   The days are feeling really long.   I also feel the anxiety is building up inside.  Mom tells me to sweat it out now and just keep visualizing that I am going to do really well.   Good night!
