Saturday, May 15

I came in to the dojo today to do some extra work with Sensei Ryan.  Shelby also came with me.  We had a great workout with Sensei Ryan.

We did some sparring, practiced footwork, and did lots of kicks .....did not think I could lift my legs anymore..they were SO tired!   Sensei Ryan had us do some continous sparring. 

Then he took me on - one on one.  It is a lot of fun to spar with Sensei.  He is so fast and really keeps me on my toes --- he told me to keep bouncing.  I got a few surprise punches in at him - payback he said --- but I know this is not for long!   I think I must be getting faster.  The extra training has really helped me. 




Shelby and I stretched after our workout on Saturday morning.

Thanks to everyone at the dojo who has been helping me to train.  I really appreciate it.  I cannot wait until Ottawa.

I am going to train Monday and Tuesday night like usual.  I fly to Ottawa early Wednesday morning.
